Service Policies

Policy No. 405 — Buckeye Rural Electric Cooperative

IDENTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL ACCOUNTS

    I. Objective:
    To establish requirements, conditions, and terms of BREC for establishing an account for electric service.

    II. Applicants for any service shall furnish proof of legal identification of the individual in whose name the account shall be billed. Identification for the purpose of establishing electric service shall include but not be limited to: social security number, photo ID (valid driver’s license or Bureau of Motor Vehicles department ID), or any legally recorded proof of identification (passport/visa, Bureau of Immigration and Naturalization documentation).
